Wow, can you believe it?
A little over one year ago I sat biting my nails waiting for Laurie to get back to me with her opinion on my first review of a book. (My first written review EVER) It was unbearable. I was so nervous – just ask my friends, they thought I was hilarious!
Me? I was pacing a hole in our floor.
Today it is EXACTLY one year ago Laurie posted my first review. Looking back, it’s been one hell of a ride. I have had the opportunity to read and review books before they were published, found good and bad books, met new amazing authors and talked to some of my favorite authors – even interviewed some of them! My TBR Pile is bigger than ever – and is STILL growing. I’m quite sure I heard it growl at me last night! (Stares at the Pile). I know I heard it.
Just thinking about what happened this last year puts a huge smile on my face and I got goosebumps when I wonder about what lies ahead…
To celebrate my one year anniversary I’m having a small party right here, right now. A giveaway with some of my favorite authors and books!
What – you want to know what the prizes are?! Really?
Alright, alright, hold your horses.
You can chose one of these paperpacks from Lisa Shearin’s Raine Benares series. Just make sure Book Depository have free delivery to your country.
These are a pic of my books from the series- you won’t get one of these, since..well, there’re MINE.
It will be a brand new paperback.
The winner will also recieve some booksmarks/postcards signed specific to the winner from Lisa Shearin.
Lisa Shearin is the reason why I stumbled over Dangerous Romance.
We have 2 e-copies of Born in Flames by Candace Knoebel.
The first book in the Born in Flames Trilogy.
I’m currently reading this and can’t put it down!
P.S. If you want to see the cover for the next book Embracing the Flames, take a look at our previous post!
You can chose between Tunuftol’s Fortress of Light or Secret of the Shielded by Ann Snizek. Wonderful books, I couldn’t put them down!!
A signed copy of Bound by Sin by Jenna Maclain.
The third book in Jenna’s wonderful Cin Craven series.

A e-copy of either Monster in my Closet or Pooka in my Pantry by R.L Naquin.
I loved both books! Monster in my Closet was one of my favorite reads in 2012 and Pooka in my Pantry will definitely bee on my favorite list in 2013.
Shotgun Rites by Stephany Simmons. A compilation of Voodoo Dues and Vampire Blues AND two short stories!
Vampire Blues was the first book I ever reviewed!!!
I would like to give a big hug and THANK YOU to everyone who gave something to this giveaway! You guys (gals) ROCK!! I’m so honored you wanted to celebrate this with me.
And last (but not least): Thank you Laurie. Thank you for bringing me into this amazing world, for pushing my limits over and over again, for teaching me I can do exactly what I put into my mind and most of all; for being my friend.
Before letting you guys go for the rafflecopter giveaway, I wanted to share this wonderful and hilarious post from another blogger: cuddlebuggery’s 5 tips on a happy co-blogging
It cracked me up SO bad.
And of course I emailed it to Laurie immediately. (snickers) SOOO BUSTED!!
Now, go! Have fun and spread the word! The contest will run for a week and the rafflecopter closes down March 7 12 AM. (GMT+1)

Happy anniversary, Sabina! (and many more!)
Lisa
Hi Lisa,
thank you so much! And yes, I’m counting on many, many more to come!
Wow what Nice giveaways you have!!
The book I am looking forward to this year must be the new Kate Daniels book:-)
It has been very funny at times when you have paced around tour house waiting for an e-mail or something;-)
Thank you AnneDorthe,
you have in all this year been one of my friends who (more than once) been on the recieving end for my rants about waiting on emails, delayed books and… well pretty much anything bookrelated!
Thank you for being my friend!
Tell everybody about our giveaway http://t.co/9S49SOOlD1
Happy to be a part of your celebration, Sabina!! Good luck to everyone!
Thank you Jenna!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY HONEY! So Proud of you! When I think back, to the shy young lady who used to leave me happy faces in my comments, who in one year has gone on to basically run this blog and nearly every improvement you see, has been put in place by Sabina. She’s grown so much and in doing so become so important a friend I’d be lost without her. During a year of intense personal crisis on BOTH of our ends, we’ve become lifelines. Our tens of emails back and forth nearly every day, our SKYPE sessions, I am so grateful for the technology that has allowed me to make such a wonderful and important friend and coblogger. Yes, I went there. Big Hug Sabina and Thank you!
I do love my smileys!
And exclamation marks – heh.
Yes, where would we be without our emails and SKYPE sessions? If the internet ever goes down…. we need somewhere good to hide, because we’re sure to be blamed.
Alright sweetie,(raises teacup), thank you for the last year and here’s for the next year! Let’s hope it will be even better than this past.
The Mistress and The Priest from Tiffany Reisz as well as Styxx from Sherrilynn Kenyon. sdylion(at)gmail(dot)com

I need to look into Victoria Schwaab, never heard about her.
Hey folks, it is the one year anniversary of my Co-Blogger Sabina, joining my blog Dangerous Romance as first a fan, then a reviewer, then a partner and best friend. In honor of her one year Anniversary she has put together an AMAZING contest chock a block full of books and giveaways (some signed by the authors). If you have a chance, please swing by the blog and leave a comment to be entered into the contest, and/or just say “Congrats Sabina” on really stepping up to the plate and kicking ass. I’d be lost without her. http://dangerousromance.com/?p=3794
